Lakes around here, anything more than 30mph will get you in trouble, most of them just aren't big enough. I still see guys with their brand new Merc 200's doing 70 for all of the 5 seconds before they have to shut it down because they're across the lake already.

Just waiting for the next one to run it aground....happens several times every year.

I have a 70hp Johnson on my boat, i would like to get a 90 though as that's what the hull is rated for.

all the lakes and suff in the state forest around here, you cant even use gas engines. its trolling motors or bust

50HP Evinrude E-TEC on a 88 Ranger 18' tiller

Does 33MPH on a good day (GPS)

My dad is trying to get a 20' Ranger tiller with a 150 H.O. E-TEC on it.

I love my Rangers and Evinrudes...

Haha... back in 97 my parents bought a brand new 200hp merc... Fuel injected... all the goodies... IT was like over 14 grand..
