I like to shop at local bait shops unless, I can't get what I need there. You don't get to set and just shoot the bull with the internet. I love to stop in to those unknown, side of the road type bait shops, plus can find some really cool old, unusual lures in those unknown bait shops.

I go to a tackle shop that is just a double wide trailer turned into a bait shop. They have some cool stuff but can't compete with bass pro. I have no problem spending money at bass pro considering all they have done for the sport. Plus it's only 8 mins from my house.

Well see my tackle shop is right around the corner from me in a little plaza. It has everything you can need for multiple species and he can get whatever you need and teach you the best way to use and color and all that. When ever j go in there with 20 bucks and 30mins to kill I spend twice that and spend more then twice that time wise lol

I work for Academy Sports have you guys ever checked one out? We carry tons of tackle, reels and rods. I work in the field and stream section. I get 20% off on all my gear. It's a great part-time job. It also pays for my hobby!

Well I live in Illinois so it might take a while but even so I just love the atmosphere in the shop I go to. There's always a few people who went just to look and Bs , the owners friendly gives tips maybe a free lure, ideas on how to tweak the bait for whatever situation your in. Lol that's like my candy land
