I love red fish.... But I would rather have a nice snook ( but in Florida there is a ban on snook ) or a good size mangrove snapper

Both!
Had grown up freshwater fishing.... wife grew up saltwater fishing...

Although I am rigged better for freshwater... She's added to my saltwater kit. It is simply a matter of where we are as to which we do more.

I live on the coast of sc an like both BUT love fresh water a lot more than salt

I took about a 20 year lay from fishing...got back in last season. Did mostly freshwater last year.. This year will split 50/50... Bought a 19' bowrider boat last August good for lakes & ocean, I fish in MA & CT.... Very interested to see what comes of my 10 pot lobster permit....
