Georgia blues

Crushed the bluefish off the beach this morning with a glass minnow jig. Absolutely had a ball with them. Been in Miami the last year and forgot how much fun the little choppers are. Started out flounder fishing with a carolina rig and live finger mullet, kept getting the semi-circle bite offs that are the sign of hungry blues. Tied on my jig with 30lb flouro, and commenced to wearing them out, lost count of how many I caught, but they were still biting when I left to eat some breakfast. Caught 8 nice trout last night walking the beach with live shrimp, no float, just 20lb flouro, with a small circle hook, and a splitshot. Had what was probably a red blister my trout rod also. Fishing is pretty good here I must say. But I dont see many people here on the water, wish I had brought the boat.
