I think the reason they dont really show any of that is becuase its not really a fishing show per se. Its a show about fish that eat people and he happens to fish for them.

Yeah...i get that, i guess personally i'm not into the drama they try to portray and prefer the fishing side of it.

But they're not trying to please me...they need ratings, and drama gets ratings.

Sometimes there is to much drama. When he want to Japan he kept asking "Could this fish really cause earthquakes?". Total drama. But... it's entertaining either way.

Exactly ! The fish are huge but it's really dramatic. I watch it anyway and feel lucky not to have most of those huge fish and such living where I swim lol

Default tv show

My daughters and I watch this alot. Crazy thing was he did a show right in our 'backyard' so to speak. The one on alligator gars in the Trinity river in TX. I have fished many times in the Trinity but never have caught a gar. I think this would be the biggest.
