I wanted to add this to the calendar but not able to at this time. I am hosting a Youth Fishing Event as part of The Outdoor Enthusisasts Group sponsored by Pure Fishing on May 21, 2011. The children as part of the North Kansas City School District. I am looking for volunteers to come out, assist with the event, and be rewarded.

The event is part of parents and children being in the great outdoors on a Saturday, teachers and staff will be present. I provide all equipment, bait, tackle and goodies. I also provide lunch, with the volunteers are fed as well. For 2011, I have teamed up with Pure Fishing as I did in 2010 and will be handing out products for your time and service.

If there is any members on this community who would like more information please post here, reply or send me a message. This thread is not meant to be advertisement, simply a way to take children fishing for a day. I can even work with you and if you have children as well.

This event is not a PUBLIC event, just so everyone understands this. I am planning a public event as well.

I have corporate sponsorship from Pure Fishing, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's joined this week along with small local fish and bait shops have been onboard for going on 9 years of this youth program.

i would be more than thrilled to volunteer for this, HOWEVER, thats the same weekend my company has decided to move it's headquarters to a new building. With me being in IT, that means i get to work all weekend until our systems are back up and fully functional.

There will be several opportunities this summer, thanks for considering and maybe next time you will join us. I provide lunch, giveaways from out manufactures and great memories of kids catching their first fish!
