I am still pricing out and looking everybody's lures, it just takes a while to make sure that I have the right model.

Thanks.
Would have guessed the MerWorm would have been more valuable just cause it would be illegal. Not sure how a lure can NOT work but guess that just mean if it still has the mercury in it. Yes it does. The Bird is in fine condition for a lure with Wings. Works well.
I do have two questions I wish to ask. I normally replace the Old Hooks.
With Antics is this a No No?
Due to their Rareness I will not fish the really hard to find lures like the MerWorm or Bass Bird, so should I just leave the old hooks on them?

j3RKBAIT, You should not replace the hooks, it can decrease the value alot. What they mean with the Merworm working is, Does it still light up. The Merworm is illegal to use in the water.
Even though the Merworm is more rare, the Kentucky Bass Bird is more popular with collectors. That is why it is more valuable.

I sure can. The Jitterbug that you have is pre WWII. That would mean 1940 to 1942. The size and color make a difference in price, if you can give me the size and color, I can be more accurate. Is it the yellow one in your earlier pictures? It would be 25 - 75 dollars, If it is the yellow in the picture it's more likely close to $75, if it is in good shape. If you have the box it goes up too. Good lure to hang on to.

The Heddon Sonar 435 is worth only $2 - $8.

The red head / white body lure that you have is a Bomber Water Dog and is worth $5 to $20, if plastic, more if wood.

The crankbait in your pictures I can't find, however I have a feeling that it is rare and I will keep looking. Does it say anything on the diving lip?

Default Lights Up?

The MerWorm has a light? I had no idea.
And thanks I will not replace hook any more. Too late for all the ones I have now already. But like I said I collect mostly cause I like the old stuff for Decorations.

Thanks again. Might send more pics but hate to abuse you so.

The Merworm mercury pocket originally had 2 chemicals in it and when you moved the bait in a cast or retrieve the mercury would light up. If you shake it a little it will light up if it still works. Most don't work anymore, if your Merworm lights up it is Very rare. It doesn't have a light bulb though.

You can ask me to look up more, I don't mind.

GREENKAYAK, I am still looking for your 7 hook topper, however it is not a regular Heddon and is very rare.

There is rust on the lip do you know of a way to take it off with out ruining the actual lure
