Where you plan on fishing? Hobbie makes some Great yaks! Their peddle drive system is great but, if you're not fishing ocean currents or Lake Erie type surf its a bit over kill. I would consider the weight as well. They're a much heavier boat than most yaks.

I would first consider where you'll be fishing and what yak options appeal to you, maybe make a pros & cons list. That should give yo a better perspective on what your kayak needs will be.

Thanks for the feedback smbhooker. I know the weight factor is a deterrent for many anglers to pick the pro-angler. But why it may work out for me is that I have a bad back. The pro-angler allows me to stand up with better mobility to fish when sitting for long periods of time brings pain. I think being comfortable might force me to purchase this hobie model.
